Moving Floor is an Australian-based showrunner-oriented production company. The principals Stephen M. Irwin and Leigh McGrath bring rich experience in the creation and production of high-quality, highly entertaining content that has been enjoyed by millions of viewers around the world. These showrunner-writer-producers have a large and growing slate of content, and seek out like-minded creatives and partners to bring new shows, films, and complementary content to viewers worldwide.
Stephen M. Irwin
Stephen is an Australian showrunner, screenwriter and novelist. Stephen is co‑creator, co‑executive producer and head writer of forensic crime series ‘Harrow’ starring Ioan Gruffudd. Stephen also created and wrote the original crime series ‘Secrets & Lies’, wrote the adapted mini‑series ‘Wake in Fright’, and co‑created and was head writer of NETFLIX series ‘Tidelands’.
His critically acclaimed supernatural novels have been published around the world.
Leigh McGrath
Leigh is an AACTA and Logie nominated producer, writer and showrunner who co‑created, wrote and co-executive produced Harrow for ABC Disney and Tidelands for Netflix. He produced the original crime drama Secrets & Lies, the feature film Australia Day, and is co-creator of Five Bedrooms. Leigh has worked extensively around the globe across multiple storytelling genres, including drama, comedy, and animation for the BBC, ITV and Fremantle International.

The principals of Moving Floor have wide and deep experience in creating high-end drama that has aired around the globe. Prior to forming Moving Floor Entertainment, Leigh and Stephen created or co-created many acclaimed dramas, including Secrets & Lies, Harrow, Tidelands, Australia Day and Five Bedrooms.
Where we’re going
Moving Floor is based in Australia but is creating content for the world. The projects that Moving Floor is developing range in size and scope from high-budget television features to bite-sized web comedies. Moving Floor is a one-stop-shop that can carry a production from the first pitch to the final sound mix. It marries show-running and executive production expertise to artistic consultation and world-class screenwriting. Though based in a production-friendly country with an enviable talent base, Moving Floor can create, develop and produce content anywhere.
